We are still looking for ham radio volunteers to work the Winterfest Boat Parade.

The Winterfest Boat Parade will be held on December 16, 2023 and we are looking for ham operators to be communicators up and down the 12 mile parade route. We still have some slots to fill, so if you are able to help us out, let us know!

Here are the dates that volunteers will be needed:

Monday, December 11, 2023 – 9:30 AM until approximately 12 Noon – Antenna Party to install antennas on the roof of the Command Center for the boat parade. Only need a handful of volunteers to help us here.

Wednesday, December 13, 2023 – 5:30 PM – Mandatory training dinner at the Winterfest office for ham operators. Dinner and drinks for those working the parade – credentials will be distributed at this dinner.

Saturday, December 16, 2023 – Winterfest Boat Parade – Parade itself starts at 6:30 PM, your start time will depend upon your assignment

Date To Be Determined – FABULOUS Volunteer Party in 2024 for those who worked the parade

Additional information will be sent out to those who will be working the parade.
